Southern Binh Duong province plans to invest in building 160,325 social houses for low-income earners and workers in 2021-2030 period.
This is part of the provincial social housing development plan for 2021-2025 periods with a vision to 2030, which has been approved by the provincial People’s Committee.
It requires a land area of 470.4 ha and an estimated investment capital of over VND84.75 trillion ($3.33 billion).
In the 2021-2025 period, Binh Duong will allocate 136.1 ha of land to build 42,445 units with an investment capital of over VND23.8 trillion ($935 million). The rest will be projected in 2026-2030 period.
Social housing demand in the province is forecast to reach 115,836 units by 2030.
